** Description changed: Binary package hint: rhythmbox After tracks get copied (installed) on the iPod the files may be played from the iPod drive directly. The track name does not correspond to the audio contents. The playback sequence on the iPod is the same as playback in the GUI, but different than the track names would suggest. This bug is a "blocker" because it is not possible to listen to audio books (the only use for the mp3 player) -- the chapters are always mixed up. + + To reproduce: + 1. subscribe to podcast(s) + 2. sort podcasts e.g by date + 3. make sure you can distinguish audio contents and be able to remember the proper name/title of the podcast + (podcasts with sequence numbers are perfect at that) + 4. connect your iPod Shuffle + 5. clean up contents of the iPod + 6. mark a sorted sequence od podcasts and drop it to the device (iPod Shuffle) + 7. experience the BUG + 7a. play tracks directly from the iPod Shuffle device: some of audio tracks will be out of order, track titles seem to be sorted, the audio is NOT. + 7b. eject the iPod, play the audio from the beginning (in the non shuffle mode!) the sequence will be identical to the one experienced in 7a, that is audio is out of order... try listening to audio book this way...
