Joe_Bishop, I think you are talking to me, but what you are saying doesn't apply. I just used the hardware drivers manager, and I'm running a clean install of one of the daily cd builds, post alpha 4.
Unfortunately, in intrepid, they now hide what is actually being done when you use the manager to install the driver.
