Hi Ajaxian, When I installed the alpha kernel, sound worked but my wireless adapter stopped working and also the video resolution went down to 640x480. I reinstalled the proprietary NVidia drivers but probably did something wrong, since I could not go above 800x600...(?). At some moment even the keyboard layout was wrong!!!... so I went back to the stable kernel and no sound.
So if you manage to use the alpha kernel without problems, please tell me how you did it and I will follow your steps 8-). Regards, Luis.
