  Using a ThinkPad T43 (2668-95U) under Ubuntu 8.04 kernel  2.6.24-19, I get a 
scramble output on S-Video. I'm using fn+F7 to switch the output.
+ Test using :
+ - Using the proprietary driver
+ - Compiz enable or not
  
  Step to reproduce:
  1. Set the resolution of the default display screen to maximum (1400x1050) 
using the "Screen Resolution" tool in Preferences menu
  2. Shutdown the laptop
  3. Un-plug the S-Video cable if plug
  4. Start the laptop
  5. Once login into a user session, press Fn+F7
  6. The S-Video output will activate and display a scramble image
  
  Expected Result :
  1. The image are scale and then output to 640x480
  
  Workarround:
  1. Follow all the step to reproduce the problem
  2. Once the S-Video output are activated, go change your screen resolution to 
any other value. The S-Video output will ajust and be clean.
