I've just had the same problem, on Intrepid, where Gedit crashes as it's being closed. I'm not sure how to reproduce it! (It doesn't seem to happen _every_ time.... I only got it that one time.) If it happens again and I notice a pattern, I'll let you know and try to do a backtrace.
