I found the following problem: Running Firefox 3 with about a bunch of tabs loaded on KUbunru 8.04.1, Compiz. I experience quite low performance, specially when writing within textfileds and using Yahoo mail and Google Reader, the browser will go gray ans stall for about a minute or so. But the worst of all is when I try to right-click-save an image: then no folder browser window will pop-up and Firefox will stall forever. Sometimes, if I kill -9 firefox and reload it again (yes, waiting over for all the tabs), I am able to save the image, though after a while surfing the same stalling behaviour repeats itself.
