*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 251252 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251252
I am commenting here only because I cannot determine if the kernel panic is caused by unloading the Intel PROWireless; I just know that it happens at s2ram, and perhaps that is the module that causes it. AcidicX, I was able to boot the machine with .27, yes. But video returned to low res, wifi indicator light showed red, I don't think sound worked, and s2ram panicked the kernel with what seemed to be the same set of indicators. Since I do have the Intel PROWireless 3945, I may just have to defer to the other fellows here and assume that unmounting of the wifi module panics the kernel. But this leaves me worried about future video incompatibilities as well, because my NVIDIA chipset has caused troubles before with s2ram (Ubu 7.04, I think). -- Kernel Panic on suspend, 2.6.24-21-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258026 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
