Yeah, thanks Evermann :) One small problem, though: I seem to no longer be able to load the acpi- cpufreq module required to do cpu scaling on my non-celeron cpu... I know this is not relevant to the majority of l1310g users but do you have any idea as to why this is? Modprobing results in a no-such-device error (supposedly the device would be a scalable cpu).... I believe (though my memory might cheat me) that I was able to do cpu scaling with the sourceforge dsdt in place...
