I'm experiencing this as well. EEE PC 900, fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04.1.. After a reboot, WPA2 resets to WPA, and I have to re-enter the password and set it to WPA2 again if I want to connect to the same network I was connected to before the reboot.
Why is this set to low priority?
