capnahab : In order to make sure that you get the same bug, can you confirm that you also get "SRST Failed" error. If not, it would be probably better to open a new bug report in case your bug is not the same. Also, like Leann Ogasawara asked, can you try to boot the ubuntu intrepid alpha 5 release (which will contains kernel 2.6.27 and be available september 5th) and give us feedback?
