Chris Jones: /etc/init.d/hal status returns, that hald is running. I tried to restart gdm, it doesn't help. I don't know, how to restart Xorg, so I tried to /etc/init.d/x11-common restart, but it doesn't work also. Killing X is not a solution, because X does not try to start again.
