** Description changed: yesterday i tried to install google gadggets, first i started install the prerequisites - shown by the distributor. installation went for more than two hours. last line in the terminal was this-building GHCi - library/usr/lib/hackshell-packages/ghc6/lib/gtk-0. i forced quit to + library/usr/lib/huskell-packages/ghc6/lib/gtk-0. i forced quit to terminate.now when i try to install any package the same appears in last line and system hangs.i tried to remove the same using synaptic package manager but failed it shows error in package.
