Public bug reported:

my system hangs at starting linux-restricted-modules-common during early
boot (S0 stage). If I disable it (chmod -x) system starts well, nvidia
driver works, etc...

I've checked script - it calls lrm-manager --quick on start.
If I run

$lrm-manager

after some work and updating initram it finishes well.
but if i call

$lrm-manager --quick

it hangs system with 100% cpu load in infinite loop

Initialy I had this problem only with 2.7.1 kernel, but currently 2.6.25
hangs too.

** Affects: linux-restricted-modules (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
