I am using windows' live messenger 8.0.812.00 right now, and I can confirm that this can be done using it.
My test: - say to someone talk to me when appearing as offline. - say him to close his conversation window - I closed my conversation window with him - Wait for 20 minutes - I open a conversation window with this person and talk him something - He received the message instantly. In fact, now msn can even store messages sent to offline people, as ICQ used to do ten years ago. But this is for another bug. ** Changed in: gaim (Ubuntu) Status: Rejected => Confirmed -- I see dead people (aka talk with people which appears offline on msn) doesn't work anymore on gaim https://launchpad.net/bugs/68786 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
