Let's say that for a relatively inexperienced ubuntu user, you've already made good work on trying to make ubuntu working on your computer :) Note that what you get is definitively a bug, and perhaps that we can help gathering informations about it and perhaps find a workaround. Don't hesitate to search in forums and to try some things, there is probably a solution for this specific problem. All information that we can find can be useful in the end.
