Just took a look at kernel packages linux- image-2.6.26-5-generic_2.6.26-5.17_amd64.deb and linux- image-2.6.27-1-generic_2.6.27-1.2_amd64.deb. Both only contains powernow-k8 and acpi-cpufreq. So this is still an issue in intrepid.
