Hi Bob, Sure I can answer that. Making sure you're specific bug report gets noticed is always an issue. The best approach would be to join the #ubuntu-bugs IRC channel on the FreeNode. Most of the ubuntu bug triagers are there and should be able to help direct you to the right developer/team to notify and also help make sure the appropriate debugging information is supplied in the bug report.
