I have a pppoe connection with alice.de, i.e. AOL. It is probably buggy in some way since on Windows it reports a non-functioning network connection, though it works fine. On Hardy, I have an intermittent bug in which, when managed via nm- applet, the pppoe connection doesn't work. If I execute "sudo /etc/init.d/networking stop; sudo /etc/init.d/networking start" then my pppoe connection works fine.
