Thank you for helping to improve Ubuntu. What does OpenOffice do when it fails to print? Does it report any error messages or dialogs? The information at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems may also provide some clues to help determine where things are going wrong.
-- I am unable to print from open office, I tried reinstalling open office but it did not work. I use a brother mfc240c printer and I am running Hardy.
