Public bug reported: Binary package hint: molly-guard
molly-guard 0.3-2 molly-guard's SSH detection fails when it is called inside a screen session. Example, called over a normal SSH session: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~% reboot W: molly-guard: SSH session detected! Please type in hostname of the machine to reboot: bar Good thing I asked; I won't reboot foo ... However, when called from inside a screen session on the remote box, molly fails to detect SSH: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~% reboot reboot: Need to be root Expected behaviour is same as first example above - i.e. molly-guard detects that the command is being issued over SSH despite being inside screen. This seems to be fixed in 0.4.4-2 (in Debian testing) which has been restructured and features new SSH detection (incorporating $SSH_CONNECTION). ** Affects: molly-guard (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- molly-guard fails to detect SSH when called from inside a screen session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/261414 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
