I could not find a way to do it in Launchpad, but it should be noted that the exact same problem affects KDM.
The following packages have been kept back: initscripts kdm 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install kdm Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: kdm: Depends: lsb-base (>= 3.2.14) but 3.2-14ubuntu1 is to be installed E: Broken packages -- Bad dependency version causes upgrade to fail https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259614 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
