I'd love to help out on this, but unfortunately the computer with that ATI card hasn't been functioning for a while due to a bust PSU. I might temporarily transfer the ATI card to the computer I'm currently using (which currently has a Radeon 9200 PRO working very well with the open source ati drivers in Hardy I'm happy to say), to test it with the latest alpha, but I don't think I'll have the time to do this in the nearest future. I might have time this weekend, but I can't promise anything.
