xc00lxkidx: im running ubuntu 8.04 32 bit and found that removing the flash plugin file from /usr/lib/firefox/plugins solves the issue. try it and let me know if it works for you 64 bit users.
I tried this on 64 bit hardy and it seems to be working. Is the link in that folder not necessary?
