I reported this bug on the alsa bug tracker https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=4089 to resume to have sound : - a kernel 2.6.26 or earlier - alsa 1.0.17 or earlier
So you can install Interpid Ibex (to have the right kernel) and compile alsa.
