I'm having the same problem in Edgy. Indeed in Dapper the problem also occurred when using the 'fglrx' driver but that's why I switched back to the 'ati' driver. However in Edgy it also occurs when using the standard 'ati' driver!
I have a USB hub on the back of my Toshiba Satellite A100 laptop which connects my mouse, keyboard, printer and external hard disk to it. All devices stop working and plugging them in another USB port on the laptop doesn't work. I'll include some parts of my 'messages' log. BTW, my hub IS USB 2.0 but somehow it doesn't get the full speed 'ehci' stack... ** Attachment added: "System log concerning USB" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4940003/messages -- Usb Mouse and keyboard stop working under edgy on toshiba laptop https://launchpad.net/bugs/67577 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
