Public bug reported: Binary package hint: swami
Using kubuntu with kde 3.5.9 here, but I guess this should apply to freedesktop compliant desktops? I installed, via adept_manager, qsynth and swami in the same batch. After installation, QSynth properly appears under 'Multimedia', whereas Swami can't be found. Since Swami is a GUI app, I would expect it to show there. I've also checked the list of installed files in adept, and I can't see nothing that looks like a menu shortcut (albeit I'm no expert and I don't know how it would like). In summary, this is (if valid) a bug in the packaging and not in the application proper. swami: Installed: 0.9.4-1build1 Candidate: 0.9.4-1build1 Version table: *** 0.9.4-1build1 0 500 http://es.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: swami (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Swami does not have a menu entry after installation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258586 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
