no, the latest is still 1.18, released july 15th 2008. i don't see how it's a bios issue though, as it's only 2.6.26 32bit kernels that won't boot. 2.6.24 works, and 2.6.27-rc1 2.6.25-386 worked, but would freeze until i presed keys on the keyboard.
