Attached is a sample PDF made with publically-available PDF files. It demonstrates the problem. Original PDF was retrieved from http://ascend.cheme.cmu.edu/pdfhelp.htm, then attachement comes from the IPCC website. Attachment performed using
pdftk sample-1.pdf attach_files ~/ENGN2222/ipcc-assessment-summary-4.pdf output sample-1-attached.pdf Note that page-level attachments (pdftk ... attach_files ... to_page) don't appear to show up in Evince at all (!).
