OK - somehow screenshot 1 is accessible to me. Yup, that is the same bug I'm referring to, and it is unrelated to the gnome bug linked to this one.
As I said this one is about text being chopped off user interfaces (like in your screenshot and mine). The GNOME bug is about preventing interfaces from going RTL if no translations exist. The GNOME one has apparently been solved.
