Hi, I can confirm this bug. I was trying to view Dave Jones' presentation "Why Userspace Sucks", which he provides as an mgp file plus some additional files:
http://www.codemonkey.org.uk/projects/talks/ols2k6.tar.gz At first, mgp would crash as in the above report: mgp -o slides.mgp style.mgp:3: warning: directive "tfont" not supported in this configuration style.mgp:4: warning: directive "tfont" not supported in this configuration style.mgp:5: warning: directive "tfont" not supported in this configuration libm17n-X.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The upstream bug report suggests making a libm17n-X.so symlink to the existing libm17nX.so.x.y.z, but that leads to another problem: mgp -o slides.mgp style.mgp:3: warning: directive "tfont" not supported in this configuration style.mgp:4: warning: directive "tfont" not supported in this configuration style.mgp:5: warning: directive "tfont" not supported in this configuration X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode of failed request: 75 (X_PolyText16) Serial number of failed request: 96 Current serial number in output stream: 100 OK, this second thing is likely to be another problem. I've also attached the crash report I got. ** Attachment added: "Crash report" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4939272/_usr_bin_mgp.1000.crash -- [edgy] mgp segfaults on startup https://launchpad.net/bugs/63976 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
