Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

Networking has been ok for ages, but on startup this time, nm-applet
just sits and spins as though it is still trying to connect after
prompting for the network key etc. In fact, it does seem to have managed
to establish the connection as I can browse the we etc. just fine.
However, nm-applet fails dismally to recognise it has worked, and
doesn't save the key etc. Reboot - same thing, prompt and spin... now
everything that relies on nm-applet information (banshee for example)
fails to start.

Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
