I still have this issue with the "wl" driver for the following network card: 04:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g (rev 01) (In an HP Pavilion dv2815nr)
$ uname -a Linux pavilion 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 21:01:46 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux Same problem as previously described. One of the places I often use wifi has two 'ACTIONTEC's in its range. One of them requires a key, the other does not. Of course, network-manager will only let me connect to the one that requires a key. I have to manually connect to the one where I don't need a key. ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- NetworkManager doesn't display or attempt to connect to wireless network with duplicate ESSID. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123846 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
