I can confirm that the problem still exists; I am actually using dmsetup version 1.02.20-2ubuntu2 on a Ubuntu hardy/8.04.1, which mentions fixing the Debian bug #455746.
When I plug the USB drive and enter the passphrase in the automatically popped up window, the previously shown icon for the drive just disappears (the volume is unlocked, but not mounted). When I use gnome-mount from the commandline (gnome-mount -vbd /dev/sdXY), the volume is mounted correctly (after entering the passphrase in the popup window). -- [Hardy] Regression: External crypto-drives are not automounted after given password https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217749 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
