That's normally not a problem, as modern hard disks park the head
automatically when the power is cut. Have you experienced data
corruption or similar symptoms, at all? Do the filesystems on the drive
get checked (fsck) regularly during bootup? I'd suggest installing
smartmontools in order to find out if there's anything wrong with the
disk.
