I already reported this bug as #250730 (linux-restricted modules), but I am not
sure if it is not some completely different package, so I try again.
I cannot start my ubuntu system with the latest kernel release any more, so I
had to go back to 2.6.24-18-generic.

I would be glad on any hint, since I did not get any response at all on
#250730, and for me it is a "critical bug", since I will be cut from any future
kernel improvements!
