I'm backtracking w/my last statement a bit. Looks like the 2.6.24-11 kernel doesn't exhibit these problems as well and on top of that I've had zero problems (knock on wood) with the forcedeth driver and this kernel. Yesterday I was able to reliably generate the kernel "Oops" noted above AND crash my NIC by doing 2-3 large dd's plus a bonnie++ in less than 15 minutes. I've been running the same regression against -11 for almost 2 hours without any problems.
