I have the same problem in Hardy with my Panasonic DMC-TZ1 camera. I did not have this problem in Feisty.
Removing "kamera" works, but is a bit messy as KDE still attempts to initiate access via the "camera:/" protocol and fails, prior to then loading the USB storage device. Surely this should be a fairly high priority thing to fix for future releases?
