I upgraded the system that I'm using from 7.10, and I don't have the system generated Xorg.conf anymore. I know how to backup the conf file if you can tell me how to get a virgin xorg.conf file again. I'm not even really sure whether the Xorg.0.log is what you would want due to the fact that I upgraded, but I've attached it anyway.
I'm hesitant to install from scratch because I like how I have the system running right now, and I'm not sure if the live CD would provide what you need. I'll do what I can to help though. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16452502/Xorg.0.log -- xorg doesn't detect nec multisync 97f monitor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
