As a side note on background: This is a visible side effect of miss-configured NAT. Even with the code patched to allow requests through, the logging capability is compromised and will show the IP of the NAT box instead of the client.
The NAT interception should be occuring on the squid box itself for Squid to have access to the NAT transformation tables. See Squid project wiki for configuration help on Interception and Policy Routing to resolve the configuration issues: http://wiki.squid-cache.org/ConfigExamples/LinuxPolicyRouteWebTraffic http://wiki.squid-cache.org/ConfigExamples/LinuxInterceptDNAT -- Transparent proxy not working in squid3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/240782 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
