thank you for your attention, but the reported problem has disappeared.
I do not know how.
I can add just a few historical information, but no other symptomes.
First, I had tried to import my e-mails using Outlook pst file.
Evolution seemed to get too slow, so I interrupted the import. After
that, I tried to import e-mails using exported csv file, but it was
unsuccessful as well. So importing e-mails was done through Exchange
server. (I mean, I copied e-mails from Outlook client to the Exchange
server, and then copied e-mails from the server to the Evolution client.
Unfortunately, I did not check contacts after stages. (I did not expect
that any contact information would be created, since I did not import them.)

After I reported the bug, I tried to setup an LDAP direcory. After I
created this type of address book, emails disappeared from the address book.

So thats all. Currently I can not reproduce the bug, and I can not send
additional information on that.

I think this bug can be closed at this moment.

Best regards, Peter
