I will attach : ~/.xsession-errors ~/.gnome/sound/events/gnome.soundlist /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom screenshots of gdmsetup and gnome-system-sound.
But it's simple to make this bug appear, only set all 3 sounds events in gdmsetup, then setl sounds/events in gnome : dialog question error message warning message information message end session * start session * I believe that (*) can not be used if you use this event/sound in gdmsetup : start session sucessfull start session failed. The .wav files does not corrupted, I can try any .wav and I get the same error. If I unset sound to start session sucessfull and start session failed in gdmsetup, everything comes OK again.
