Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy
The build logs of 0.23.3-1ubuntu1 source package show that empathy fails on amd64[1] but not on i386[2]. Cannot write to log file: /var/log/scrollkeeper.log : Permission denied Cannot write to log file: /var/log/scrollkeeper.log : Permission denied make[3]: *** [install-doc-omf] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/empathy-0.23.3/help' After chatting with slytherin and Zdra on #ubuntu-MOTU it was concluded that the build problem is probably a result of the empathy package depending on scrollkeeper instead of rarian. As I understand, scrollkeeper should be replaced by rarian-compat although I'm not completely sure and could not find the policy documentation. Both buildlogs show a dependency on scrollkeeper.
