Sorry, that was a really sparse bug report, wasn't it? Note to self - don't report bugs after one too many pints of ale.
This is Xubuntu 8.04. uname -a Linux hiro 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 21:01:46 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux To reproduce: (1) Log in. (2) Fire up gdmflexiserver (with or without xnest, doesn't matter) (3) Click session and choose "Secure Remote Connection" (4) Login with a valid local account (5) Up pops a box saying "enter the name of the host you want to log in to". Bad grammar aside (should be "in to which you want to log in), you want to type in the host. I am using my local machine. (6) My normal session starts with XFce running (7) Click exit (the little door icon) and select "log out" (8) The panel exits, but the wallpaper is left and the window remains (if xnest is used) or the X server stays running (if just run normally) until you Ctrl+Alt+Backspace it. If you don't use the "Secure Remote Connection" session, and just do a normal login, when you log out as described above, the window closes or the X Server exits, dropping you back to your previous session. Let me know if you need anything else.
