I have this consistently.  It takes a few hours to trigger, typically,
but when it does it locks up my linksys router (presumably the Linux
workstation is sending packets at such a rate that it overloads the
linksys, I dunno, but if I unplug the ethernet cable then the linksys
router comes back to life) at the same moment as locking up the
workstation itself.  Disabling the Marvell 88E1116 in the BIOS makes the
problem go away, but then I don't have ethernet.

Right now I'm downloading Linux kernel 2.6.26 to see if that fixes it.
(I've already tried 2.6.25 and it had the same problem.)
