as i see, when i compared /var/lib/dpkg/status with *Packages file,
everyting seems same, as i managed to check...

i may do other tests as you wish..
as i said before, i also installed intrepid on another machine, same
issue continues..

and, my i ask: may i remove this package, e2fsprogs ? does it breaks
system ?
