Binary package hint: pidgin
pidgin 2.4.3 is available.
There is a third party .DEB build but I don't trust third-party when I
can just be patient and wait for a universe release. (The third-party
.DEB is not released by the pidgin crew but by getdebs.com or something
like that.)
