when i insert a cd and push the eject button on the drive, it opens
without problem. even with grip running (and ripping) the cd can be
ejected this way. but when i rip right until the end of a whole cd (or a
preselected number of tracks) and (according to my grip setting) the
automatic eject should be performed (what does not happen), i can
manually open the drive for one second only by pushing its eject button.
it closes again (eventhough the cd is not being mounted again!) and
remains locked until i close grip. this is the standard behaviour i
observed. but this behaviour is not regular. sometimes in rare cases the
automatic eject is being performed as it should be. and sometimes the
drive can be manually opened after the one-second-opening. so one has to
try a few times (selecting only one track to be ripped) to reproduce
this bug.

i hope this helps
