Public bug reported: A friend of mine installed ubuntu using wubi. Everything went ok, but Wubi installed a Ubuntu-64bit. While this is correct, is not newbie friendly, because 64bit is not generally adviced for beginners. You are going to have issues with flash, skype and a number of proprietary packages, other than current version of gambas (like my friend had) and so on.
Wubi should ask which architecture install or (worst) just install 32bit by default. ** Affects: wubi Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: wubi Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wubi doesn't ask you which architecture install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252690 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
