Radio silence. Is synaptic no longer under active development? Where the hell are its developers hiding? It's bugs like this and http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334806 which make power mgt on linux look right stupid. Is no one interested in fixing this? It's a spec, is there something up with specs? Like the clipboard spec which no one adheres to?
