In cfv version 1.18.2-1, the current version in Intrepid, cfv Suggests
bittorrent | bittornado, it does not Recommend them. Since suggested
packages are not automatically installed, they are not required for the
program to run. Suggested packages are similar or useful when this
package is installed. Since bittorrent | bittornado are no longer
recommended, there is no reason to replace them with python-bittorrent.
As a result, I am setting the status of this bug to 'Invalid', since it
is no longer a valid bug.
